In the interest of maintaining honesty and integrity with my website, I’ve created this page to explain that in some cases there may be a material connection between myself and the products or services that I write about.
The main point of this website is to talk about gifts and, when appropriate, I will link to Amazon or a retailer where you can buy the gifts being talked about. From time to time I may also recommend a product or service and include what are called “affiliate links” in various locations of my website. What this means is that if someone clicks on one of these links and makes a purchase, I’ll be paid either a commission or advertising fee.
It’s important that you understand that unless otherwise stipulated, these purchases aren’t actually processed by my website which means that I don’t offer any technical support or refunds on these products or services. The actual vendor or company that the purchase is made from will be able to offer technical support and they will be the ones to honor any applicable warranties or refund policies. Having said that, I strongly recommend that you read and thoroughly understand any warranties or refund policies before making your purchase. If you’re uncomfortable with the terms of these policies, my suggestion would be that you not purchase the product or service.

If I actually use a particular product or service or I’ve actually tested it, I’ll disclose that fact on my website. Since I write about gifts to give to other people, however, I frequently do not have first hand experience with the product recommended.
